in 2009 i made a video for mutual of omaha’s “aha moment” campaign. they sent me an email this morning reminding me about it. it seems like much more than 2 years ago. it’s funny how my involvement in activism and NOW gave me so much more confidence. a year before this, i would never have spoken on camera. these days, i think i’m much more articulate than i was then.
i found the video completely mortifying right after i did it (and realized that i need to sit up straight and not slouch! lol) but now i think it’s kind of sweet.
